Project Role : Technology Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Key Responsibilities: • Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Exadata Database Machine components, including servers, storage, and networking. • Patching and Upgrades: Manage and execute patching activities for Exadata, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure. • Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning measures. • Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability. • Security Management: Ensure the security of Exadata environments by implementing and maintaining security policies and procedures. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to Exadata environments. • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. • Collaboration: Work closely with database administrators, system administrators, and other IT staff to ensure seamless operation of Exadata environments. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience with Oracle Exadata. • Technical Skills: 1. Proficiency in Oracle Exadata Database Machine architecture and components. 2. Experience with Oracle Clusterware, ASM, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). 3. Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting. 4. Familiarity with backup and recovery tools such as RMAN. 5. Experience with patching tools and procedures for Exadata. 6. Knowledge of Oracle database upgrade processes, including the use of tools like AutoUpgrade • Soft Skills: 1. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 2. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Oracle Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC). • Knowledge of Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance and Private Cloud Appliance (PCA). • Certification in Oracle Exadata or related technologies.
