Technology Support Specialist I (City)

We are currently seeking a Technology Support Specialist I to join our growing team. This position is a great opportunity to build IT customer service and technical skills in an environment with decades of experience. In this role, you will be providing technical assistance and support to our customers, ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely technical support.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows computer systems and applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Asset management – Checking in and documenting assets.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on complex technical issues.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure that technical issues have been resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience with computer equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems.
  • The ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical employees.
  • Customer-service focus.
  • Hands-on problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune a plus but not required.
