Tekla Detailer / Modeller

We @ IMC are looking for individuals who has experience in using Trimble TeklaStructures as a TeklaStructure Detailer

Creates detailed 3D models and shop drawings for steel structures using Tekla Structures software, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Key responsibilities include preparing fabrication and erection drawings, generating material take-offs (MTOs), incorporating client comments, and producing documentation for approval, fabrication, and erection. Qualifications typically include a civil engineering degree or diploma, strong proficiency in Tekla Structures, and experience in structural steel detailing. Key responsibilities

• 3D Modeling: Create detailed and accurate 3D models of structural steel components using Tekla Structures software.
• Drawing Production: Generate and issue comprehensive drawing sets, including shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings.
• Material and Connection Detailing: Prepare detailed drawings for connections and create material take-offs (MTOs) for components.
• Quality Control and Compliance: Review and interpret design drawings to ensure models and documentation comply with project specifications, client requirements, codes, and standards.
• Documentation and Revisions: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, and incorporate comments from checkers and clients into the final drawings.
• Coordination: Coordinate with engineering and project teams to resolve technical queries and ensure project deliverables are met.

Required qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Software Proficiency: Mandatory, strong proficiency in Tekla Structures (formerly X-Steel).
• Experience: Several years of experience as a steel or Tekla detailer.
• Skills:
• Excellent 3D modeling and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of structural steel construction techniques and industry codes.
• Strong attention to detail.
