Job Summary

As a Tele-Calling Executive at UpgradeSkills Events, you will be responsible for making outbound calls and inbound follow-ups to prospective customers, promoting our workshops and training events, and converting leads into registrations. You will play a key role in driving event attendance and revenue growth by using persuasive communication and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospective participants (individuals & corporate clients) to promote upcoming workshops and training events.
  • Handle inbound inquiries from leads interested in our events.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, goals, and decision-making timeline.
  • Provide clear and compelling information about course content, pricing, schedule, and value proposition.
  • Follow up with potential clients via calls, emails, and WhatsApp (or other channels) to nurture and close sales.
  • Maintain and update a CRM/database with lead contact details, call notes, and conversion status.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align call campaigns with marketing promotions, email campaigns, and event launches.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for registrations, conversions, and revenue.
  • Provide feedback from calls (common objections, customer pain points) to improve event offerings and marketing messaging.
  • Participate in team meetings to strategize on improving call scripts, sales strategies, and customer outreach.
  • Report weekly on progress (calls made, leads generated, conversion rates, follow-ups) to Sales Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (1–2 years) in telesales, tele-calling, or inside sales, preferably in education, training, or events.
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle rejection professionally and persistently follow up.
  • Customer-centric mindset — able to understand customer needs and articulate solutions.
  • Comfortable working with CRM tools (or willingness to learn).
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Target-driven and motivated by results.
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp / email / other channels commonly used by leads is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is a plus.
