We are looking for an experienced and proactive Installation & Cancellation Specialist to manage the back-end responsibility of ensuring every completed sale gets installed, activated, and retained within the commission window. This role is highly critical to our revenue cycle and will involve continuous follow-up with customers and providers.

About The Role

Once a sale is completed by our front-end sales team, your responsibility begins.

Your main objectives will be:

✔ Ensure Installation Completion

  • Contact customers on their scheduled installation dates
  • Confirm the customer is available at home for the installation technician
  • Help troubleshoot minor issues if customers face difficulties
  • For self-install orders (e.g., AT&T Internet Air), follow up until activation is successful
  • Guide customers step-by-step through equipment setup if needed

✔ Ensure Service Retention

  • Maintain customer follow-up within the first 90 days
  • Ensure they stay connected for at least 3 months to avoid commission reversals
  • Provide basic support and escalation guidance

✔ Ensure Cancellation of Previous Providers

Customers switching from Spectrum or Xfinity MUST cancel or hold services.

Your task will include:

  • Calling Spectrum/Xfinity as the customer
  • Cancelling or suspending previous services
  • Making sure no additional billing continues for the customer
  • Preventing frustration that may cause them to revert to previous service

What You Will Be Handling

You must understand installation steps and retention requirements for providers such as:

AT&T
DirecTV
Frontier
Windstream
Brightspeed
Optimum
Other regional telecom providers

Each provider has different procedures, timelines, and verification steps.

Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)

Your performance will directly affect commissions and will be measured based on:

Installation Completion Ratio
Chargeback Ratio
Cancellation Success Ratio

Your responsibility is to ensure that all completed orders result in successful and commissionable activations.

Requirements

1+ year working experience with Telecom Installations/Retention/Back-End validation
Experience with AT&T/DirecTV/Spectrum/Windstream/Frontier customers preferred
MUST be fluent in English with a clear or American accent
Must understand activation timelines and installation processes
Must be comfortable contacting customers daily
Must be comfortable calling providers while impersonating the customer (as required for cancellation)
Strong follow-up skills with documentation

This is strictly operational back-end oversight to ensure sales turn into revenue.
