Telecom Technician

Job Summary:

The Telecom Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications systems and equipment. This role ensures reliable network connectivity, optimal system performance, and timely resolution of technical issues. The technician will work closely with internal teams and clients to provide high-quality support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including switches, routers, fiber optics, and VoIP systems.
• Perform regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of telecom networks and devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
• Monitor network performance and report potential issues to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement telecom projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
• Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards while on-site or in the field.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and clients as needed.

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Telecom Technician.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is required.
• Valid Qatar ID.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
