We are seeking a Telecommunication Radio Expert as a part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH Abu Dhabi. The job opening is in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.

Responsibilities:

Review, approve and monitor the Client Contractors’ configuration control plan that will define a process to maintain consistency across the design of the various components of the railway system
Supervise and ensure quality assurance for the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunication systems, with special focus on safety and operationally relevant subsystems
Conduct and document inspections, tests, and acceptances (e.g. Factory Acceptance Testing, First Article Inspections) of telecommunication and radio systems
Ensure compliance with international and regional standards, as well as project-specific re-quirements
Review and approve test plans, methods, and reports submitted by contractors
Coordinate with other project stakeholders, especially in interface management and the inte-gration of telecommunication systems into the overall railway system
Support the preparation and implementation of safety and quality management plans
Document and track deviations, ensuring their resolution
Participate in meetings and coordinate with stakeholders and contractors

Qualifications:

University degree (preferably Master’s and/or Chartered Engineer status)
Minimum 15 years of experience in managing design and/or construction of rail projects
Proven experience in the implementation of telecommunication and radio systems—ideally in high-speed rail projects
Must have previously held the same position for at least one project of similar size
Local Experience in Middle East and/or UAE project experience is advantageous
Fluent in spoken and written English ins mandatory; Arabic language skills would be an advantage
Experience in quality management, interface coordination, and working with both international and local stakeholders
