What You’ll Do as a Telecommunications Sales Agent

  • Act as the primary point of contact for potential customers, managing inquiries and resolving issues to support successful sales outcomes.
  • Build strong customer relationships through community outreach, event-based campaigns, and targeted retail initiatives.
  • Leverage consultative selling techniques to uncover customer needs and guide them through the full sales cycle—from interest to close.
  • Provide leadership and support to marketing and sales teams, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and campaign goals.
  • Execute daily operational tasks, follow-ups, and pipeline activities in collaboration with leadership and fellow Telecommunications Sales Agents.
  • Partner with other Telecommunications Sales Agents to identify new opportunities, grow customer bases, and expand into new territories.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with a focus on value, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of campaign strategies to drive consistent results.
  • Stay informed on brand offerings, promotions, and performance benchmarks to remain competitive in the marketplace.

What We’re Looking For in a Telecommunications Sales Agent

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, account management, or customer service.
  • Prior experience as a Telecommunications Sales Agent strongly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, multitasking environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong listening, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Solid understanding of basic sales principles and consumer behavior.
  • High initiative, reliability, and resilience in achieving goals.
