We are seeking a dedicated tele-psychiatrist to join our team and provide exceptional OnDemand mental health care to our patients. As a psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing health care services for patients with behavioral and mental health conditions.

Scope of job: Psychiatrist will conduct OnDemand psychiatry consultations for patients in the Emergency Department and Med-Surg units for Hospitals in PA.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for the ED/Med-surg unit
• Responsible for conducting ED/Med-surg unit OnDemand consults for Hospitals
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Provide ongoing medication management and monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Prescribe medications as necessary

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• MD/DO required
• Current inpatient experience at an acute care facility
• Completion of a psychiatry residency program
• Board certification in psychiatry is required
• Valid medical license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Active Pennsylvania DEA
