Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner

COMPENSATION IS PAID AT $15 PER ENCOUNTER. NOT PER HOUR.

1099 CONTRACT.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Telemedicine Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care through virtual consultations, utilizing your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage a variety of health conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in telehealth and a strong background in various medical specialties, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients.

Required:

Minimum of 3 of the following state APRN licenses that must be independent unrestricted and active prescribing: WY, ND, SD, NE, KS, AK, HI, ME, NH, CT, VT, RI, MA, DE, MD and others as long as you have a collaborating physician in non independent states

Duties

• Conduct virtual patient assessments and evaluations through telehealth platforms for primary care, quick care, and mental health conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
• Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options.
• Collaborate with other NPs
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate electronic medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Manage prescriptions, including medication administration and monitoring for side effects.
• Perform triage for emergent cases, directing patients to appropriate care as needed.
• Utilize EMR system Tebra/Kareo
• Stay current with clinical research and advancements in telemedicine practices.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on telehealth or remote patient care.
• Strong clinical background in areas such as critical care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, or urgent care.
• Background in managing patients with chronic conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $100.00 per hour
