Telemetry Technician

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Previous travel experience working in remote monitoring. Telemetry competent. Be able to pass basic cardiac rhythm test.

Preferred Skills/Experience: CNA background, Cardiac nursing background, Medical terminology background, Previous GE monitoring experience.

Preferred Credentials: ECG-Board Certified

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Analyzes and interpret heart rhythms. Building end of shift reports within the GE Carescape system. Add and discharge patients from the GE Carescape system.

Equipment Used on Unit: GE Carescape.

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds – Average number of patients monitored each day is 336. Patient Ratios – 40+ patients to 1 monitor tech. Travelers will be cross trained on the GE Carescape system and Cerner Patient Observer as a Virtual Sitter Attendant. NCDV Office

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and On call(if any): Yes 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks. 2 on call shifts per 6 weeks. Holidays.
