Telemetry Tracking and Control (TT&C) System Engineer needed: Remote, Hybrid or onsite in Pittsburgh, PA.
We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for a Telemetry Tracking and Control (TT&C) System Engineer. This position can be worked remotely, or onsite in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a long term contract position, and you must be a US Citizen to apply. Required: US Citizenship and Residency, W2 hourly Contract Only, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry)
Pay: $75 to $97.50/hr. D.O.E. - Must Have Strong Communication Skills
TELEMETRY TRACKING AND CONTROL (TT&C) SYSTEM ENGINEER
As a Telemetry Tracking and Control (TT&C) System Engineer, you'll be part of a cross functional team supporting our nation's missile defense initiatives.

Responsible for common ground enterprise (CGE) system architecture, design and requirements for Command and Control (C2)

COTS tool experience with OpenC3 or similar product
-
MBSE experience
-
System Design experience including command queue, C2 automation, schema/design for telemetry archival of a large satellite constellation, including hardening

Experience with CCSDS (interoperability) , XTCE (data exchange format for spacecraft telemetry), cFS (common framework system)

Experience with STTC (S-band) RF
-
SE that understands the importance of SE ownership "cradle to grave" on a fast paced system design program

Experience supporting Command and Control (C2) development, integration, and test

Preferred experience with Space-Ground and Ground-Antenna ICD creation, design of Common Ground Enterprise COTS-based C2 System

Preferred space command operational experience

Preferred COTS experience with InfluxDB, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, microservice architecture, cloud (AWS, RHOSP)

Preferred lab or operational COTS integration experience working side by side with the integration test team

Preferred knowledge of antenna build-out, operation, and interfaces with knowledge and ground entry point (GEP) as a service

Preferred subsystem integration experience with command queue, InfluxDB and Redis
Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field

Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
