Job Summary

TEMP NANNY NEEDED JUNE 1ST-JUNE 15TH. *there's a gap between end of school and summer school*
Hiring a temp nanny for a family who's moving to Mount Vernon Triangle this summer and looking for a nanny to step in for 2 weeks.

She's a very easy, fun kid. Mom works from home Mondays and Fridays and in-office Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Trips out and about are encouraged.

Job schedule:

Recurring, 38 hrs/wk for 2 weeks and then occasional days if nanny is open and bonds with the family

Monday 8:00 AM–5:30 PM

Tuesday 9:30 AM–2:00 PM

Wednesday 8:00 AM–5:30 PM

Thursday 8:00 AM–5:30 PM

Friday 9:30 AM–2:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care for 4 year old female.
• Assist with daily routines
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs
• Engage child in educational activities, games, and age-appropriate teaching to promote development
• Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning toys and children's areas

Qualifications

• Prior experience in nannying, babysitting, daycare, or early childhood education preferred
• Knowledge of toddler care, and preschool development stages pregerred
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for caregiving and child development
