Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny to provide loving, attentive, and reliable care for children ranging from infancy through school age. In this role, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports children’s growth, learning, and emotional well-being.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about childcare, enjoys working in home environments, and is committed to supporting children through positive guidance, structured routines, and engaging activities.

Experience working with families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, including Muslim households, is highly valued. Cultural sensitivity, respect for family routines, and adaptability are important in this role.

Candidates who are multilingual are highly encouraged to apply. Speaking more than one language such as Arabic, Bengali, Urdu, or Spanish is considered a strong plus.

Duties

• Provide attentive care for children ranging from infancy through school age
• Support daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, diapering, and nap schedules
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks based on family preferences and dietary needs
• Engage children in age-appropriate educational play, reading, arts and crafts, and structured activities
• Ensure a safe, supervised environment at all times
• Maintain cleanliness in childcare areas, including toys, play spaces, and child-related items
• Support children with additional needs by following provided care plans and adapting activities when appropriate

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, daycare, or early childhood education
• Understanding of child development across infancy, toddler, and school-age stages
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to prepare basic, healthy meals and snacks for children
• Experience working with families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
• Experience or comfort supporting children with special needs is a plus
• Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive caregiving environment
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity when working in home settings with varying routines and traditions
