Temp, PT Library Specialist (Cherokee, Morning)

Job Responsibilities

Provide high quality library services for faculty, staff, and students from both on and off campus at the Cherokee County Campus, Gaffney, SC. Duties include assisting patrons with computers and other technology, circulation and reference responsibilities as well as assisting librarians with various projects.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Associate degree and two years library, teaching, or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Additional Comments

Ability to work assigned hours consistently. Ability to frequently move around the library assisting patrons. Other physical demands might include moving book carts and moving books and materials weighing up to 25 lbs. from shelving from ½ ft. to 6 ft. high and transporting them around the library.
