Temporary Administrative Assistant

Our company is currently seeking a full-time bookkeeper/administrator assistant to join our team for a four month period. This position will be approximately May - August. Our current Admin will be out on maternity leave. We are a fast-growing restoration company looking for Bookkeeper/administrator assistant in New Caney, Texas. This person will manage all aspects of the office, including A/R, A/P, G/L, Inventory, Reconciling, Quarterly Tax Reporting, data entry, general office duties, etc.
What the company offers: This is a temporary full-time position with no benefits offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting needs of the organization
  • Prepare, post, verify and record customer payments and transactions related to AR
  • Draft correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections
  • Identify delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contact delinquent account holders to request payment
  • Oversee all accounts payable function
  • Manage month-end reconciliation
  • Maintain the accuracy of the general ledge
  • Create reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Quickbooks experience is required.
  • Office assistant experience preferred.
  • Cost accounting experience preferred.
  • Some experience in bookkeeping is a must.
  • Problem solving skills are a must.
  • A Positive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
