Temporary Employee is responsible for arranging their own parking upon 1st day of hire.

Assist with administration and maintenance of a large complex case management database to support litigation efforts. Has knowledge and understanding of database structures (records and fields). Knowledge includes (not limited to) data processing, importing/exporting data spreadsheets and editing records (single or large batches). Follows detailed coding procedures.

Conduct quality control reviews of data entered by division personnel, other law firms and external vendors to ensure accuracy and consistency with coding and data entry guidelines.

Assist with the coordination and tracking of validation components of the database. Reconcile data discrepancies, research and resolve database issues.

Communicate database issues and potential problems as they develop.

Designs report formats, performs complex searches as requested.

As a member of the team providing litigation management services for a key firm client, the Database Assistant will also take shifts to cover the Help Desk by responding to or routing user requests to the appropriate personnel. May also be asked to cover after hour and weekends on a rotating basis during high litigation activity levels.

Regular eight hour work days with hours between 7am and 7pm with some changes in start and end times as required by the project.

Communicates courteously and professionally by phone and in person, using good communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.

Requirements: Associates Degree or certificate in technology or legal studies required. Law firm paralegal experience in a litigation setting preferred. Two to three years related database experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
