Purpose and Mission

We are looking for a Temporary (fixed term contract) ''Procurement SSC Buyer''.


  • Responsible to support the procurement operations at the plant level. This role involves assisting the Local Plant Buyer in sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Purchase Order Creation: Ensures timely and accurate creation of purchase orders, initiating the procurement cycle.
  • Order Confirmation Monitoring: Tracks and confirms supplier acknowledgment of orders, reducing the risk of missed or unapproved orders and not confirmed orders.
  • Late Delivery Follow-up: Actively monitors delivery timelines, communicates with suppliers to make sure that materials will be delivered on time
  • Blocked Invoice Resolution: Works with Accounts Payable, TCS, suppliers, requestors to resolve invoice discrepancies, preventing payment delays and potential supply hold-ups.
  • SSC buyers maintain clean and timely data entry in our 2 systems SAP, Ebuy (e.g., correct delivery dates, confirmation data, supplier info, PO status), which is crucial for reporting, planning, and decision-making

Skills

  • Good command of both written & spoken English
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with procurement software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Previous Experience

  • Previous experience in a purchasing or administrative role is beneficial.

Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
