Job Overview: The Sales Executive runs the sales department offer goods and services to customers for profit. His/her primary duties include approaching prospective customers, winning new clients, maintaining good relationships with businesses, and setting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. OPERATION MANAGEMENT

  • Open and close shops in accordance with the mall's operating hours.
  • Report to direct manager on the status of shop operations on a regular basis.
  • Attend all meetings which he has been invited to be in.
  • Follow all safety precautions for electrical, fire, water, and the likes.
  • Do billing and banking systems, as well as CCTV, attendance machines, and third-party accessories.
  • Make sound decisions to ensure operations run smoothly.

2. CUSTOMER RELATION AND MANAGEMENT

  • Greet customers and assist them in locating the best product for their needs and preferences.
  • Provide customers with accurate product information, including its features and benefits.
  • Create and maintain customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and answering questions.
  • Treat all customers with dignity and give high-quality customer service.
  • Make sure of accurate customer information collection.
  • Keep customer information and data strictly confidential.
  • Gather as much customer information as could be gathered for future use, e.g. mobile number, email, date of birth, nationality, and so on.
  • Provide more details about the loyalty and rewards program.
  • Ensure that the service is still available after purchasing.
  • Ensure that a walking customer is recorded by the system.
  • Ensure product inquiries from customers are entered in the system and scheduled as soon as possible.
  • Keep store environment positive and professional for both customers and colleagues.
  • Notify store manager if a customer forgot and left their belongings or shopping bags in the shop.
  • Congratulate customers on their purchase.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to increase customer loyalty and to make them repeat purchasing.

3. SALES

  • Achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Give invoice to customers following their purchases.
  • Validate a discount coupon.

4. ACCOUNTS

  • Maintain and track petty cash.
  • Enter customer tips into our system in cash or in short form, and inform the accounts department about it.
  • Make daily deposits and credit card transactions on the same day.
  • Enter everyday expenses into the system every day.
  • Other than daily expenses, obtain prior approval from the manager.
  • Maintain a proper handover procedure by sending a handover form to the store manager.
  • Do implementation of allowing only card returns.

5. STAFFING

  • Maintain an appropriate handover form system for transfers, vacations, and so on.
  • Ensure attendance in daily meetings as it is required, so are the attendance records.
  • Log in to HR, CRM, insurance, and other business-related applications.
  • Keep track of attendance, holidays, overtime, medical leave, hand commission, and stock shortages.
  • Keep attendance and time records.
  • Adhere to the proper schedule system.
  • Follow all company and job policies.
  • Maintain current on any job-related information, memos, or company updates.
  • Improve understanding of performance reports

6. LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

  • Participate in appropriate system and product knowledge training.
  • Attend daily reviews of your progress.
  • Be available in product knowledge training.
  • Attend communication training to improve your communication skills.

7. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Take care of your assigned area by checking the shelves and racks for quantity and quality.
  • Ensure receiving of stock should be done in full view of the CCTV cameras. All mistakes or errors must be reported to the branch manager.
  • Keep the racks in the stores from becoming overcrowded.
  • Keep a record in the ledger to track store-to-store delivery or main office delivery.
  • Protect the product from harm's way.
  • Keep the inventory away from dust, water, and direct sunlight.
  • Check random stock in your assigned area.
  • Resend on the same day all the “reordered mail”. Mention dates and notify the manager.
  • Check the expiration dates of the inventory and notify the manager.
  • Provide stock reports in accordance with the manager-informed period.
  • Inspect the stock randomly.

8. REPORT MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain accurate data for required departments' reporting like attendance, CRM, stock, cash, and mall-related information.
  • Report all machine errors, and send email notifications to line managers.
  • Provide a complete report by sending documents and details before the deadline.

9. MANAGEMENT OF FACILITIES

  • Follow all maintenance policies.
  • Ensure maintenance and repair are required for all facilities, lights, screens, air conditioners, and electrical devices.
  • Ensure that all regulations and standards for safety, health, and the environment are followed.
  • Maintain relationships with contractors and service providers and offer assistance.

10. MERCHANDISE MANAGEMENT

  • Merchandise products seasonally and in response to new product launches, and stock shelves in accordance with the first in, first out principle.
  • Ensure shop visible areas, particularly the front and gondolas, should have multi-brand shelves, and all products should be kept dust-free and in proper condition.
  • Examine product packaging, color fade, and other factors.

11. PROMOTION MANAGEMENT

  • Keep the store clean and well-organized while adhering to visual merchandising standards.
  • Maintain the minimum writing quality required for readable promotional items, e.g. price numbers and stickers should adhere to a universal standard and be easily readable.
  • Be aware of the validity of the authorities' sale/promotion permits and act accordingly in all aspects of sales and marketing.
  • Ensure the hanging and placement of posters during the sale and promotion period, distributing fliers for promotional participation in brand and product company promotion, exhibitions

12. CONFIDENTIALITY MANAGEMENT

  • Keep customer information confidential.
  • Ensure product information and pricing confidentiality.
  • Keep sales and revenue data confidential.
  • Ensure confidentiality in payroll information, production and purchasing information, and employee-related issues.
  • Continue to use the letterhead and business stamp.

13. DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

  • Keep all related documents e.g. shops, malls, municipalities, staff documents, etc.
  • Ensure that any documents requested by departments are scanned in pdf format. (Some malls and states have different mandatory documents, such as health cards, permits, and so on).
  • Save and file all documents in their respective folders.
  • Monitor document expiration dates, and notify the back office of the renewal process.
  • Handover all the documents to the manager when going on vacation or relocating.
  • Only use and keep templates and forms that have been approved by the management.

14. QUALITY MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain overall store quality.
  • Examine the quality of the product and service e.g. shopping bags, packing covers, gift wrapping, and so on.
  • Make certain that the product is in sellable condition.
  • Protect the product from damage.
  • Make certain that the products have not been opened prior.

15. GENERAL MANAGEMENT

  • Safeguard all keys, access cards, passwords, and users.
  • Keep all required documents in the stores.
  • Hold responsible for machines, furniture, and stationery.
  • Maintain a calm and welcoming atmosphere on the shop floor.
  • Report customer gifts after acceptance.

  • Preferably has experience in perfume field
  • Retail experience can also be considered

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
