Role Summary:
Support the end-to-end tender process; application, submission, process management and reporting of in scope tenders within Middle East Market, coordinating with all required departments including customer services, sales & marketing, legal and regulatory departments.
Provides support and guidance to the business regarding strategic pricing priorities, to drive value-based pricing and to maximize the value of innovation and support Pricing Leads for all the pricing related tasks.
Job Description:
Tenders
-
Proactively manage full Tender Lifecycle (Pre-tender, Quotation, Award, Post Tender Stages) in collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance and the wider business, ensuring completion and driving value added content on each submission.

Review the evaluation criteria for each tender submission and ensure requirements are fulfilled.

Review T&Cs - legal and commercial content of the tender documents and inform related stakeholders to avoid potential risks and to reserve for, if any.

Perform tender KPI analysis & pricing simulations for offers.

Share tender performance metrics with relevant stakeholders.

Manage day to day relationships with customers, Business Units Leaders & teams keeping each group informed of any relevant changes/developments on tenders.

Continuously improve the digital tools and reports, to support business stakeholders and to ensure all changing requirements are met

Support active projects, ensure necessary inputs are provided on time.

Ensure compliant tender processes and SOX controls are in place and documented per requirements
Pricing

Pro-actively engage with Business partners, to provide support and guidance regarding strategic pricing priorities: to drive value based pricing and to maximize the value of innovation

Support Pricing Lead for multi-factor pricing analysis to identify and monitor the trends, root cause of profitability leaks and/or price erosion and provide recommendations

Ensure continuity & accuracy & timeliness of monthly Pricing Reports & Business Reviews

Support business by seeking ways to drive better product mix to improve profitability

Ensure local pricing governance and EMEA pricing governance guidelines are followed

Drive price escalations as per guidelines and support the discussions by providing detailed price analysis considering key performance measures

Provide price change simulations during PL update process to optimize SGP through Price, Volume & Mix

Support pricing trainings to upgrade skills of S&M team to influence price decision making process in line with strategic priorities, to enhance product value understanding, to support correct product positioning and segmentation in the market.

Continuously improve pricing reporting and analytics: create advanced pricing dashboards

Ensure Product database/ Price list is accurate and aligned with Regulatory inputs

Manage Cignon PL approvals in timely manner, ensuring prices are set within pricing guidelines

Lead/support key projects related to Pricing wherever needed

Ensure Pricing SOPs are kept up to date

Ensure compliant pricing processes and SOX controls are in place and documented per requirements
Experience and Requirements:

University/Bachelors Degree
-
Ideally degree in a business orientated subject (Finance, Marketing, Economics, Business)

Min 3-5 years related experience ideally in managing tenders in the region.

Proficiency in MS office specifically advanced MS Excel knowledge

Working knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
