We manage high-profile projects throughout the region and are seeking a motivated Tender / Proposals Engineer to join our team and support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals in response to client RFPs.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing client RFPs, coordinating internally with technical teams, and preparing professional, competitive technical and commercial submissions that align with both client requirements and PEC’s consultancy standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Review, analyze, and interpret client Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and project management teams to collect and validate all required inputs.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and professional technical proposals in line with RFP requirements.
- Develop commercial submissions including pricing, BOQs, and cost breakdowns.
- Ensure proposals are submitted within deadlines and meet client specifications.
- Participate in clarification meetings and support bid presentations when required.
- Maintain and update proposal templates, ensuring consistency with PEC’s brand and quality standards.
- Track tender outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- 3–5 years’ proven experience in proposals/tendering within engineering consultancy firms in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of consultancy requirements, UAE tendering processes, and local regulations.
- Excellent skills in preparing technical and commercial documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal preparation tools.
- Fluency in English (Arabic Language is Must).

Preferred

- Experience with government projects or large-scale infrastructure/building tenders.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and consultancy-based tendering.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
