Estimation Engineer – Fit-out & MEP Projects

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for interior fit-out and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to fully understand project scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed BOQs, cost breakdowns, and pricing sheets for Fit-out and MEP works.
• Obtain quotations from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, and analyze them for cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate technical and commercial aspects of bids to prepare competitive offers.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure accuracy in cost estimation.
• Support management in tender negotiations and clarifications with clients/consultants.
• Conduct value engineering studies to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
• Maintain and update a database of suppliers, subcontractors, and price benchmarks.
• Assist in risk analysis, budgeting, and project cost forecasting.
• Ensure timely submission of tenders and proposals.
