Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bidding, Tender & Technical Proposal Specialist with mandatory experience in the IT sector. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing bids and tenders across government, private, public, and NGO sectors, along with hands-on experience in preparing technical proposals for software, IT services, digital transformation, system implementation, and technology-driven projects. This role requires a professional who can identify opportunities, manage the end-to-end tender process, and prepare technically strong, compliant, and competitive proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Draft Technical, Financial Proposal, and design the solution as per the required RFP

Identify and monitor tender opportunities relevant to IT services, software solutions, digital transformation, and technology projects.

Review RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents to understand technical, commercial, and compliance requirements.

Prepare, review, and submit bids, quotations, and tender documents within strict deadlines.

Draft technical proposals, solution approaches, project methodologies, implementation plans, scope of work, and technical narratives based on client requirements.

Coordinate with internal technical, finance, legal, and operations teams to collect required documentation and inputs.

Ensure all submissions meet technical, financial, and regulatory compliance standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government e-tendering systems, procurement regulations, and online bidding portals.

Track submitted bids and provided timely status updates to management.

Maintain a database of tenders, proposals, submissions, and outcomes.

Develop proposal templates, reusable content libraries, and best practices to improve proposal quality and efficiency.

Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and client requirement analysis to improve win rates.

Participate in bid clarifications, presentations, and client discussions when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bidding, tender management, and technical proposal writing within the IT sector is mandatory.

Proven experience preparing proposals for software development, IT services, ERP, digital transformation, cloud solutions, system integration, or other technology-related projects.

Strong understanding of government, private, public, and NGO tendering processes. Hands-on experience with online bidding portals and e-tendering platforms.

Strong ability to convert technical requirements into structured, persuasive, and client-focused proposal content.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.

Understanding of commercial, legal, and compliance aspects of IT tenders will be an added advantage.

Preferred Attributes Experience with national and international IT tenders.

Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and tender tracking tools. Strong analytical skills to evaluate bid feasibility, project scope, and technical risks
