Core Roles and Responsibilities of Tendering & Contracts:

Should be able to quantify the interior layout, software Auto cad, Revit, MS Excel ( must know Formulas and linking),

1-Market Analysis: Lead research on client needs, competitor landscape, and market conditions to inform bid strategy.

Go/No-Go Decisions: Act as a key contributor or lead in the decision-making process on whether to pursue a tender, evaluating strategic fit, win probability, and resource requirements.

Bid Planning & Strategy Development: Develop the overall bid plan, timeline, and win strategy. Lead kick-off meetings to align the bid team (technical, legal, and finance) on the strategy.

Client Engagement: Proactively build and manage relationships with key client contacts before the tender is issued to better understand their drivers.

2. End-to-End Bid Management: Take full ownership of the entire tender process from receipt of documents to submission, coordinating all internal and external contributors.

Complex Proposal Writing: Draft and review non-technical sections of the proposal with a focus on compelling value propositions and compliance.

Pricing Strategy: Lead the development of complex commercial proposals and pricing models. Work closely with finance and estimators to ensure costs are accurate, competitive, and profitable. Analyze different pricing scenarios.

Risk Identification & Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments of the tender documents (particularly the draft contract). Lead meetings to identify commercial, legal, and delivery risks and develop robust mitigation strategies.

Negotiation Preparation: Develop the negotiation strategy and fall-back positions in preparation for post-submission clarifications and negotiations.

3. Contract Finalization: Lead negotiations on commercial and contractual terms with the client's representatives, aiming to finalize a fair and balanced contract.

Handover to Project Teams: Conduct a formal contract handover meeting to the project delivery team, clearly communicating all key obligations, risks, opportunities, and commercial sensitivities.

Contract Administration: Manage the ongoing administration of multiple contracts, including variations (change orders), claims, extensions of time, and payment applications.

Dispute Resolution: Identify potential disputes early and work with project teams and legal counsel to resolve them through negotiation, mediation, or other formal mechanisms.

Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client on all contractual and commercial matters, fostering a positive and professional relationship.

4. Leadership & Knowledge Management

Mentoring: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior tendering and contracts staff.

Process Improvement: Identify and lead initiatives to improve tendering and contract management processes, templates, and tools for the entire department.

Knowledge Repository: Maintain a central library of past bids, lessons learned, and standard contractual clauses to improve future efficiency and quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
