Tendering Engineer

📍 Location: KSA

🏭 Industry: Electrical Manufacturing / Power Distribution

We are looking for a motivated Tendering Engineer to join our Commercial Operations team. This role plays a key part in preparing accurate, competitive, and technically compliant offers while supporting Sales in techno-commercial discussions with customers.

🔑 Role Purpose

Review customer RFQs and technical requirements, estimate costs, and prepare complete technical documentation to support high-quality quotations and proposals.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, specifications, and drawings
• Prepare cost estimates using approved costing tools
• Develop technical documents including:
• Scope of Supply
• Technical Notes
• Deviation Lists
• Spare Parts Lists
• Revise offers based on customer feedback in coordination with the Tendering Manager
• Prepare contract reviews and support order handover to Project teams
• Explain technical compliance and deviations to Sales and customers when required
• Support techno-commercial discussions with Sales
• Coordinate with suppliers for non-standard components when needed
• Track expected projects, hit rates, and offer lifecycle metrics

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2–3 years of experience in tendering or estimation
• Experience in switchgear manufacturing is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office ; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
