Tendering Engineer

  • Review customer RFQs/RFPs, scope of work, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Prepare high-quality technical and financial proposals.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, and finance teams to gather required information.
  • Conduct cost estimation, bill of quantities (BOQ) preparation, and pricing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations and technical data.
  • Participate in tender clarification meetings, site surveys, and client discussions when required.
  • Track tender submissions, follow up on evaluations, and support negotiations.
  • Maintain an organized tender documentation database and stay updated on market pricing trends.
  • Support business development teams in bidding strategies and early opportunity assessment.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in tendering, cost estimation, or pre‑sales.
  • Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure systems, such as (Fiber optic networks (OSP/ISP), Structured cabling, Data center infrastructure, Passive and active telecom solutions)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills—written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
