Tendering Specialist

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Tender specialist to manage and oversee all tender-related activities in the medical sales sector. The ideal candidate should have experience or a strong familiarity with NUPCO, ETIMAD, MNGHA, KFSHRC procedures and platforms. This role requires effective coordination between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring full compliance with all government regulations and tender requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, prepare, and submit tender documents including RFPs, RFQs, bank guarantees, and required certifications
• Analyze all previous tenders’ results to identify key trends, pricing strategies, and competitor performance.
• Prepare detailed market surveys for the targeted products, including an estimate of their market size and potential demand
• Coordinate with internal departments (sales, finance, logistics) to gather necessary documentation and approvals
• Ensure timely submission of tenders through Etimad or NUPCO platforms
• Monitor and follow up on tender status, contract awards, and feedback
• Ensure all submitted bids are accurate, complete, and in line with client specifications and local regulations
• Maintain an up-to-date calendar of all ongoing and upcoming tenders
• Establish strong relationships with procurement departments in government hospitals and health sectors

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or similar field
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in tendering

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of Etimad and experience dealing with NUPCO tenders is highly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Strong skills in writing professional Arabic letters, emails, and reports
• Good command of spoken and written Arabic; average English proficiency
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and receive ongoing training
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
