Job Overview:
We are recruiting for our esteemed client in KSA, seeking a highly experienced Terminal & Flat Stores Manager to oversee and manage operations of grain silos, flat stores, and liquid materials tanks. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless terminal operations, accurate inventory management, strict compliance with safety standards, and efficient utilization of manpower and resources.
Salary : 10,000 SAR
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Manage and operate grain silos, grains and bulk material flat stores, and liquid materials tanks (molasses, edible oil, fuel, etc.).
- Ensure smooth silo operations in accordance with standard operating manuals while maintaining high operational efficiency and asset durability.
- Supervise the full process of receiving, transferring, and dispatching grains, maintaining accurate quantity records at all times.
- Investigate and resolve operational malfunctions promptly to ensure streamlined processes, cost control, and asset safety.
- Oversee end-to-end grain bagging operations in coordination with sales, transportation, and maintenance teams to maintain consistent productivity.
Inventory & Warehouse Management:
- Manage grain and liquid material inventories at silos and flat stores in alignment with production and logistics plans.
- Oversee daily inventory movements and ensure accurate system entries and reports.
- Maintain proper documentation for all receiving, dispatching, and transfer activities.
- Conduct daily inspections of all storage facilities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Manage fumigation, ventilation, and shuffling operations to maintain optimal storage conditions.
- Ensure accurate product labeling and card placement linked to the inventory system.
- Apply FIFO methodology and provide weekly stock aging and lifecycle reports.
- Control and report waste, shrinkage, and losses within defined tolerances.
- Prepare monthly stock reports showing material positions, receipts, dispatches, and locations.
Coordination & Planning:
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance scheduling.
- Plan warehouse capacity based on incoming material schedules and vessel discharges.
- Liaise with logistics, transportation, and fleet departments to ensure timely and efficient material movement.
- Coordinate with vessel agents for smooth unloading operations at targeted discharge rates.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate documentation, approvals, and operational readiness.
- Ensure proper coordination for equipment handling, warehousing safety, and inventory practices.
Leadership & Cost Control:
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse and operations teams to maintain high efficiency and productivity.
- Optimize manpower utilization and reduce labor costs through automation and process improvements.
- Manage operational budgets while ensuring cost efficiency and high resource utilization.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and SFDA requirements to support sustainable business operations.
Safety & Security:
- Ensure the safety of employees, transporters, and visitors within all terminal and warehouse areas.
- Control warehouse access and coordinate with security and support teams to safeguard premises.
- Implement and monitor workplace safety standards in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: B.Sc. in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in warehousing, silos operations, or bulk materials management.
- At least 5 years at a managerial level.
- Proven expertise in grain handling and storage operations.
- Strong understanding of silo management systems and inventory processes.
Skills Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of warehousing and inventory procedures.

- Fluency in English (spoken, written, and reading).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficient in reporting and presentation.
