Territory Manager – Cardiology Sales

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $100,000–$120,000 (territory-based, non-negotiable)
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $175,000–$194,000
  • Uncapped monthly commissions
  • $300 car allowance per pay cycle

The Opportunity

As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and utilization of our non-invasive wearable cardiac defibrillator (WCD) system and our portfolio of cardiac diagnostic services. You will partner with healthcare professionals across hospital and outpatient settings to educate, support, and increase appropriate adoption of our life-saving technology.

This is a highly clinical, consultative sales role requiring strong business acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare systems.


What You’ll Do

Strategic Sales & Territory Management

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales objectives
  • Develop and execute quarterly and annual business plans
  • Maintain and grow a robust territory pipeline
  • Analyze territory trends and identify growth opportunities

Clinical & Product Expertise

  • Educate healthcare professionals on:
  • Risk factors for Sudden Cardiac Death
  • Appropriate patient identification for WCD therapy
  • Clinical data supporting product utilization
  • Provide technical, reporting, and reimbursement education
  • Become a trusted clinical and industry resource

Relationship Development

  • Call points include:
  • Cardiologists
  • Electrophysiologists
  • Hospitalists
  • CT Surgeons
  • Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants
  • Nurses, Case Managers, and Administrators
  • Conduct medical education programs, symposiums, and trade show participation
  • Maintain strong cross-functional collaboration internally

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure proper documentation for intake and reimbursement
  • Maintain account credentialing and access
  • Manage field expenses and reporting
  • Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times


What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-year accredited institution)
  • 3–5 years of medical device or hospital-based pharmaceutical sales experience
  • OR
  • 5+ years of documented sales success, including at least 1 year in healthcare sales
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must reside within assigned territory
  • Ability to obtain and maintain hospital credentialing

Preferred

  • Cardiology sales experience
  • Experience selling in complex hospital systems

Work Environment

This is a field-based position requiring daily travel within your assigned territory. You will work primarily in hospitals, physician offices, and medical facilities. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support business needs.

Physical requirements include the ability to drive, travel by train or plane as needed, and perform routine movements such as standing, walking, and occasional bending.
