Roles and Responsibilities of a Territory Sales Executive:
- Achieve Sales Targets
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Drive revenue growth within the assigned territory.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when required.
- Territory Management
- Develop and execute territory sales plans.
- Identify growth opportunities and potential markets.
- Ensure effective coverage of all assigned customers and areas.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Resolve customer complaints and provide after-sales support.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand their needs.
- Business Development
- Identify and acquire new customers.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Expand the company's customer base within the territory.
- Distributor and Dealer Management
- Coordinate with distributors and dealers to ensure product availability.
- Monitor distributor performance and stock levels.
- Support distributors in achieving sales objectives.
- Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Collect customer feedback and market information.
- Provide recommendations to management for improving sales strategies.
- Product Promotion
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and promotional activities.
- Ensure proper product visibility and merchandising at retail outlets.
- Implement marketing campaigns in the assigned territory.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales data in CRM systems.
- Submit sales forecasts and market reports to management.
- Negotiation and Closing Sales
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers.
- Close sales deals and ensure timely order processing.
- Follow up on payments and collections when required.
