To drive sales growth, market coverage, and brand visibility across the assigned territory by managing distributors, developing trade relationships, ensuring product availability and merchandising excellence, and leading Distributor Sales Force (DSF) performance.
The Territory Sales Executive serves as the brand's frontline commercial representative, responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and delivering effective execution across General Trade, Wholesale, and Supermarket channels.
Key Responsibilities:
✪ Sales & Territory Management
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets across assigned territory.
- Develop sales forecasts and execute territory coverage plans.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across General Trade, Wholesale, and Supermarket channels.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
✪ Distributor Management
- Manage distributor relationships, stock availability, and order cycles.
- Ensure adequate stock cover, inventory rotation, and claims resolution.
- Conduct distributor performance reviews and support distribution expansion.
✪ Product Availability & Market Coverage
- Ensure complete product range availability across all assigned channels.
- Monitor stock-outs, slow-moving SKUs, and distribution gaps.
- Expand market reach through new outlet and distributor development.
✪ Merchandising & Trade Execution
- Ensure implementation of merchandising standards, displays, POS materials, and promotional activities.
- Monitor planogram and visibility compliance across outlets.
- Support execution of trade marketing initiatives and campaigns.
✪ Distributor Sales Force (DSF) Management
- Assign targets and monitor DSF performance.
- Conduct field coaching, product knowledge training, and sales development sessions.
- Identify capability gaps and drive performance improvement initiatives.
✪ Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and new product launches.
- Gather retailer, distributor, and consumer feedback from the market.
- Provide actionable market insights and recommendations to management.
✪ Issue Resolution & Relationship Management
- Handle distributor, retailer, and sales-related issues within the territory.
- Resolve complaints and escalate critical matters when required.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
✪ Reporting & Administration
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales, coverage, stock, and market reports.
- Maintain accurate distributor, outlet, and territory records.
- Track target achievement, merchandising compliance, and territory performance metrics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to Rs80,000.00 per month
