Role & Responsibilities

  • This is a customer interfacing role.
  • Sales and Marketing of water treatment chemicals like cooling water, boiler water, RO & polyelectrolytes.
  • Build and manage relationship with everyone involved in projects.
  • Able to handle pre and post sales technical queries successfully.
  • Forecasting growth opportunities from new potential markets.
  • Effective creation of sales plan and implementation in alignment with business objectives.
  • Attending sales meetings & negotiations with customers.
  • Understand client requirements, coordinate with various operating groups and develop a competitive proposal.
  • Track & report sales and marketing activities on a decided periodic basis.
  • Analysis of Orders won and lost and implement learning and follow best practices.
  • Engage in techno - commercial discussions with clients, consultants.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Essential Qualification: B Tech/ BE Chemical Engineering or M Sc. - Chemistry.
  • Experience: Water treatment chemicals at Refinery/ Petrochemical/ Fertilizer /Power plant / Process industry.
  • Products to be handled: CWC, BWC, Polyelectrolyte & ROC (Cooling water chemical , Boiler water chemical, RO chemicals).

  • Actively work on building the brand and image of Thermax.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Build and maintain a detailed, active customer database
  • Build and manage relationships with large corporate and business houses
  • Coordination with Peers from other divisions/regions and maximize cross sale opportunities
  • Business development through new applications products.
  • Clear & strong orientation towards results, targets and deadlines
  • Willing to travel extensively to achieve set targets
  • Sharp commercial acumen and high technical uptake.
  • Payment collection & follow-up
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Product/Application Knowledge

Experience/ Exposure

  • Candidate having experience in Water Treatment Chemicals
  • Should have experience in handling mid and large accounts in industries like Power/Pharma/ Refineries / Food & Beverages
