Test Automation Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks across web, mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation tools and frameworks, coupled with experience in cross-platform testing and CI/CD integration. This role requires close collaboration with development teams to ensure product quality, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Build and enhance comprehensive test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, DevOps) to ensure seamless test coverage and integration.
• Implement test strategies, define automation best practices, and drive test automation adoption.
• Conduct cross-platform testing and ensure scalability of automation frameworks.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Track, document, and report defects using test management tools (e.g., Zephyr Scale).

Core Technical Skills

• Automation Tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
• Frameworks: TestNG, JUnit
• Testing Types: Web, Mobile, API Test Automation
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent
• Other: Cross-platform testing, Defect tracking & reporting

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation.
• Certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
