TEST ENGINEER

QTEC Aerospace is seeking a TEST ENGINEER to join our team of professionals in Huntsville, AL. The qualified applicant will become part of a team of professionals representing both industry and government. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, have a proven track record and a positive work ethic.

Job Summary

QTEC Aerospace is looking for highly capable and motivated individuals. The successful candidates will function as an integral member of a multi-contractor team providing program, engineering, and technical support to Missile Defense programs.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Scheduling the tests for execution and then will monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust for evolving conditions
• Up to 10% travel between the program development sites (Colorado Springs and Schriever SFB)

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and at least 5 years of related experience, will substitute equivalent professional years of experience for degree; or a Master's Degree and at least 3 years of related experience; or a PhD with at least 1 years of experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing
• Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing
• Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements
• Experience in C++ development
• Experience using Python and other scripting languages
• Experience using Eggplant or other GUI based toolset
• Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prepare and brief presentations to the customer as needed
• Self-motivated and customer-oriented

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Security+ certification
• GMD/MDA Experience
• Java experience/understanding
• Experience using Cameo
• Active DoD TOP SECRET level security clearance

Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
