Unreal Engine Animator

Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Animator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both 2D and 3D animation, with a passion for bringing characters and stories to life through motion. This role requires proficiency in various animation software and tools, as well as an understanding of color theory, typography, and graphic design principles. As an Animator, you will collaborate with other artists and team members to create engaging visual content for various projects.

Duties

  • Create high-quality character animations and motion graphics that align with project goals.
  • Utilize software such as Cinema 4D, Maya, Blender, and Adobe Creative Suite to develop animations.
  • Collaborate with the art team to design and implement animations that enhance storytelling.
  • Participate in post-production processes including video editing using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
  • Develop scripts in C#, Python, or C++ to automate tasks or enhance animation workflows.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy knowledge to ensure realistic character movements.
  • Apply color theory principles to create visually appealing animations.
  • Work with tools like ZBrush, Mudbox, and Perforce for asset management and creation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve animation skills.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in 2D animation techniques and software (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop).
  • Strong skills in 3D animation using tools such as Maya, Blender, or Unreal Engine.
  • Experience with motion graphics creation using Adobe After Effects.
  • Knowledge of video editing processes within Adobe Premiere.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as C#, Python, or C++ for automation purposes.
  • Understanding of typography principles and graphic design fundamentals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
