Test Engineer - TOSCA for Banking Project

Overview:

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Tosca Test Suite.
Analyze business and functional requirements to create efficient test cases for Capital Markets applications
Execute automated and manual tests for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Maintain and enhance test frameworks and ensure test coverage across various workflows (e.g., Order Management, Trade Lifecycle, Settlements).
Work with QA leads, business analysts, and developers to identify testing needs and validate results.
Participate in test planning, estimations, daily standups, and defect triage meetings.
Track and report testing progress, defects, and quality metrics.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal QA policies.

Essential skills:

Strong hands-on knowledge of Tosca modules, including test case design, test data management, test execution, and reporting.
Good understanding of Capital Markets – trade lifecycle, front-office/middle-office/back-office operations, FIX protocol, etc.
Experience working with trading platforms, clearing/settlement systems, or market data feeds.
Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Strong understanding of STLC, defect management, and automation best practices.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Zephyr.

Experience:

4+ years of experience in software testing with at least 2+ years using Tosca.
