Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test cases for payment systems involving SWIFT messages (MT/MX, ISO 20022).
Validate end-to-end payment flows including SWIFT, RTGS, ACH, SEPA, and cross-border payments.
Perform test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting using test management tools.
Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
Review and validate mapping rules and transformations for SWIFT messages.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
Perform API and integration testing for payment systems.
Contribute to automation efforts where applicable.

Required Skills:
4+ years of testing experience in the banking/payments domain.
Strong hands-on experience with SWIFT messages (MT/MX, ISO 20022).
Good knowledge of payment processing systems such as RTGS, CHAPS, SEPA, ACH, FEDWIRE.
Experience in testing message queues, APIs (REST/SOAP), and batch processing.
Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter is a plus.
Good understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries.

Preferred Skills:
Exposure to financial standards and compliance requirements.
Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
