This position exists to support the Hill’s Pet Nutrition R&D facility by assisting with all aspects of warehouse and inventory management of research materials; developing contacts with vendors to purchase commercially competitive diets; developing compliance with Hill’s Corporate, United States, Global Regulatory, and Quality Standards. Works under general supervision of all on-site departments, and direct supervision of Test Management and Logistics, Specialist.

What you will do:
  • Executes all aspects related to testing material inventory management at PNC,
  • Develops and Manages all aspects of research sample management supporting; Product Development, Implementation & Support, Research & Development and Global Quality Nutrition & Claims.
  • Maintains and executes operating procedures ensuring compliance with various regulatory agencies.
  • Annual Audits of Hill’s Pet Nutrition Center SOP’ related to USDA permits, maintaining ongoing compliance.
  • Performs regular inspections of Logistical Operations ensuring compliance with Colgate Palmolive EOHS and quality standards supporting a culture of safety and quality excellence.
  • Maintains finished product warehouses; cleans, sweeps and monitors for pests; maintains professional appearance in work area.

Basic qualifications include:

  • High School diploma or GED with 3+ years of related industry experience in Warehouse Management, Procurement, Shipping and Receiving.
  • Current valid forklift certification, prior forklift experience or eligible to certify within 30 days.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of related industry experience in Warehouse or Inventory Management, Procurement, Shipping and Receiving.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Research environment, Regulatory Compliance related to International shipping permits and logistics.
  • Commercial Driver License (CDL).
  • Strong computer skills (SAP, Google Suite, and PAWS).
  • Critical attention to detail and Ability to multitask.


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $51,200.00 - $70,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
