Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support configuration, testing and commissioning activities at our main office in Abu Dhabi and at various site jobs (Saudi Arabia, Congo, Angola, Egypt, Algeria, China, Europe, etc) whenever required. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the various Telecom systems, including but not limited to:

• Access Control System (ACS)
• Public Address/General Alarm (PA/GA)
• Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV)
• Radio Systems (UHF, VHF, TETRA)
• Data Network
• Intrusion Detection
• Telephone System
• etc

The Configuration and Commissioning Engineer will work under the guidance of the Commissioning Manager and Project Lead Manager, with the technical support of the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and verify the proper installation of Telecom systems
• Perform configuration for FAT and IFAT testing
• Perform functional testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting at sites
• Ensure systems are commissioned in accordance with project specifications and standards
• Coordinate with the site team, vendors, and remote support teams to resolve technical issues
• Maintain accurate records of tests, issues, and resolutions
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in configuration, testing and commissioning of Telecom systems on Offshore Oil & Gas projects
• Solid technical knowledge of Telecom Systems for Oil&Gas onshore and offshore projects
• Proven ability to work independently in an international site environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
