Position Title: Testing & Commissioning Technician

Role Overview

The Testing & Commissioning Technician will be responsible for carrying out all site-based pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing activities for electrical and mechanical systems. The role requires strong technical understanding, hands-on experience, and adherence to project quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, and performance verification of MEP and control systems as per approved procedures and drawings.
• Perform pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, loop checking, and system energization.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure that installation and commissioning activities meet project specifications and schedules.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, test sheets, and documentation for client approval.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects or performance issues in coordination with the engineering team.
• Support system handover and client acceptance testing activities.
• Comply with all site safety procedures and quality management systems.
• Provide technical feedback and participate in tool box talks and commissioning meetings as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in testing and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, or control systems.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, BMS, Fire Alarm, ELV, or LV systems preferred.
• Oil & Gas experience will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with testing procedures, commissioning schedules, and quality documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Good communication and reporting skills in English.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork attitude.
