Testing & Commissioning Technician

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Elevator Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Ajman. You will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing final functional tests on vertical transportation systems to ensure they meet strict safety codes, performance standards, and operational requirements before client handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Commissioning Checks: Inspect mechanical and electrical installations, including guide rails, ropes, Hoistway wiring & car assemblies to verify compliance with approved engineering drawings and specifications.

Testing Execution: Conduct comprehensive functional and safety tests, including load tests, speed tests, emergency power operation, and safety gear/governor testing.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical faults in elevator control panels, drive systems, and safety circuits.

Code Compliance: Ensure all installations strictly adhere to UAE local authority regulations and international safety standards (e.g., EN 81).

Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate test reports, snag lists, and commissioning certificates for client approval and regulatory sign-off.

Team Coordination: Work closely with installation technicians, project managers, and local inspectors to resolve site issues swiftly. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
