Job description
We are seeking a Testing Engineer to lead and execute validation and diagnostic activities for Powertrain (PWT/ePT) systems. This role involves managing engineering changes, defining technical specifications, planning and performing tests, and ensuring compliance with project milestones and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage engineering changes (OdM, ECR, FETE) and product configuration
Lead HW/SW development activities with suppliers, ensuring cost, timing, and quality KPIs
Prepare product technical definitions and requirement documents
Finalize technical specifications with suppliers and conduct requirements analysis
Execute DFMEA, PFMEA, DV, PV processes with suppliers
Plan component and integrative testing and define validation methods
Prepare and manage PWT/ePT architecture, network, diagnostic, and vehicle function specifications
Manage open points and troubleshoot issues, defining root causes
Define architectural requirements (connectors, relay/fuse boxes, terminals, wire types, gauges, colors, ultrasonic solders)
Create electrical schematics and documentation, share with stakeholders, approve for commissioning
Manage application and project phases of advanced research projects and development milestones
Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on test benches and vehicles
Carry out vehicle modernization (software updates)
Plan and perform validation tests of PWT systems on vehicles and test benches
Execute End-of-Line (EOL) testing and implementation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, or Mechanical Engineering
Experience in testing and validation of automotive powertrain systems
Knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, DV, PV processes and automotive standards
Proficiency in diagnostic tools and electrical schematics
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
