We are looking for a “Testing Specialist” in Hitachi Energy at Kartal Factory - Istanbul, who is eager to contribute the change with continuous improvement mindset and inspire people in the organization in order to reach the level of ‘’World Class Manufacturing ‘’ necessities with below qualifications.

Please be aware that related factory is in Kartal, Istanbul and will be moved to Dilovası, Kocaeli in 4-6 months.

How you’ll make an impact

• Performing the routine, type and special acceptance tests and preparing the test reports of power transformers according to international standards and customer specifications.

• Work on Test laboratory Investment.

• Inspection of customer specifications and determination of requirements.

• Following up on the calibration and maintenance of test equipments.

• Preparing the transformer test programs and test laboratory schedules.

• Support the activities of the site team for field tests and commissioning.

• Living core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with aplicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines

Your Background

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, MSc degree in engineering is preferred.

• Min.1 year of experience in Transformer testing engineering fields and/or experience in the transformer manufacturing process.

• Adaptability to work in 2 shift operations and 6 days a week.Adaptable to flexible working hours-based test program.

• Having experience in Quality & Laboratory Management Systems.Knowledge and experience about ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Laboratory Management System to support and ensure management system requirements.

• Strong interpersonal & communication skills, action-oriented, motivated, attention to detail, commitment to excellence, and flexibility.

• Very good command of written and spoken English and Turkish.
