Position Overview

The Textile Designer will be responsible for developing creative textile designs, fabric patterns, prints, and artwork as per the brand’s requirements. The role involves coordination with the sampling, production, and merchandising teams to ensure timely and accurate design execution for garments.

Key Responsibilities

• Create innovative textile designs, prints, patterns, and artwork for garments.
• Develop fabric concepts suitable for various apparel categories.
• Work closely with the sampling and production teams for fabric execution and approval.
• Prepare Mood Boards, Color Boards, Trend Boards, and design themes.
• Conduct research on market trends, color forecasts, textures, and textile innovations.
• Modify and finalize designs based on feedback from the design head or management.
• Ensure print files, repeats, and colorways are correctly prepared for production.
• Coordinate with printers, fabric suppliers, dyers, and embroiders for design development.
• Maintain a library of fabrics, swatches, artworks, and design references.
• Ensure quality and accuracy in all textile outputs before production.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design / Fashion Design / Fine Arts or relevant field.
• Proven experience (1–5 years) as a Textile Designer in a garment or textile company.
• Strong knowledge of fabric types, printing techniques, weaving, embroidery, and garment construction.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or other textile design software.
• Creativity in patterns, color combinations, and fabric aesthetics.
• Good understanding of market trends and fashion forecasting.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with export houses or garment manufacturing units.
• Knowledge of digital and rotary print development.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple design projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
