Textile Designer

Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative and skilled Textile Designer to join our furnishing division. The ideal candidate will design fabric patterns, textures, and concepts for upholstery, curtains, blinds, bedding, and home décor products. This role requires strong creativity, trend awareness, color sense, and hands-on experience with textile design tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design fabric patterns, textures, and prints for upholstery, curtains, blinds, and home décor products.
• Develop seasonal design collections aligned with brand identity and market trends.
• Prepare digital artwork, repeat patterns, color palettes, and technical files for production.
• Research international textile trends, weaving styles, printing techniques, and materials.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and merchandising teams on material selection and product development.
• Review sample fabrics, conduct quality checks, and coordinate design approvals.
• Maintain and update digital design files, catalogues, and trend boards.
• Communicate with suppliers for sample development and material sourcing when required.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion & Textile Design, or a closely related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in textile design (preferably in furnishing, upholstery, or home textiles).
• Strong command in design software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD textile tools.
• Excellent sense of colors, textures, and pattern composition.
• Strong portfolio showcasing textile/furnishing design work.
