Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – English (Classes IX & X)

Job Summary

The TGT English teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature to students of Classes 9 and 10, developing their reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills in alignment with the prescribed curriculum and examination requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature to Classes IX & X as per the prescribed syllabus
• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons
• Develop students’ grammar, vocabulary, writing, comprehension, and communication skills
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids
• Conduct assessments, unit tests, and examinations; evaluate answer scripts
• Provide feedback and academic support to students
• Prepare students for board examinations and internal assessments
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs
• Maintain academic records, attendance, and progress reports
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
