Job Description: TGT English Teacher

Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – English

Classes: VI to X

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English to students of Classes VI to X as per CBSE curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in students.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct regular tests and evaluate answer sheets timely.
• Maintain students’ academic records and progress reports.
• Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in English with B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at secondary level (preferred).
• Strong command over English language and grammar.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in smart class tools and basic computer applications.
