TGT Maths Teacher

Job Purpose

To deliver high-quality Mathematics instruction that builds strong conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills among students, while supporting their academic and personal growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic & Teaching Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to Classes VI–X in accordance with the prescribed syllabus (CBSE/ICSE/State Board)
• Design detailed lesson plans, teaching aids, and digital content
• Use innovative teaching strategies to make learning engaging and effective
• Ensure clarity of fundamental concepts and application-based learning
• Prepare students for internal exams, board-aligned assessments, and Olympiads
• Assign, correct, and evaluate classwork, homework, and projects

Assessment & Evaluation

• Conduct periodic tests, unit exams, and remedial classes
• Maintain accurate academic records and student portfolios
• Analyze student performance and provide targeted academic support
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents

Classroom & Student Management

• Maintain discipline and a positive classroom culture
• Identify learning difficulties and support students individually
• Encourage critical thinking, participation, and self-confidence

Administrative & Co-curricular Duties

• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and workshops
• Assist in school events, examinations, and academic planning
• Follow school policies, safety norms, and professional standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics
• B.Ed. (Mandatory)
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
