Job Description – TGT Science Teacher

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Teach Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) to middle school students as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lesson plans using effective and innovative teaching methodologies.
• Conduct practical sessions, experiments, and demonstrations while ensuring laboratory safety standards.
• Assess, evaluate, and monitor student performance through tests, assignments, projects, and observations.
• Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and assessment data.
• Provide timely feedback, guidance, and remedial support to students as required.
• Create and maintain a positive, disciplined, and student-friendly classroom environment.
• Encourage scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.
• Participate in academic planning, curriculum development, and staff meetings.
• Communicate effectively with parents during meetings regarding student progress and development.
• Actively participate in school activities, events, and professional development programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science (Physics / Chemistry / Biology).
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience as a TGT or middle school teacher.

Skills:

• Strong subject knowledge and conceptual clarity.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage students through activity-based and experiential learning.
• Basic proficiency in using digital tools for teaching.

Note:

• Transportation will not be provided; staff must arrange their own transport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Education:

• Master's (Preferred)
