We are seeking a dedicated professional who can inspire students to understand history, geography, civics, and social sciences while nurturing critical thinking and moral values.

Position: Social Studies TeacherKey Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement structured lesson plans as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Teach subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and related Social Science topics in an engaging and interactive manner.
• Use visual aids, maps, charts, and audio-visual tools to enhance understanding.
• Encourage discussions, debates, and project-based learning to develop analytical skills.
• Prepare study materials, assignments, and conduct regular assessments.
• Monitor and record students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment.
• Organize educational activities such as quizzes, exhibitions, and field visits (where applicable).
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training programs.

Eligibility Criteria

• Proven experience as a Social Studies Teacher (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of History, Geography, Civics, and Social Science curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Creative, energetic, and student-focused approach.
• Strong moral values and professional discipline.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, or related field.
• Mandatory Qualification: B.Ed / D.El.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification.
